The first-generation 1955-57 Thunderbird was Chevrolet's answer to the Corvette. Design with two seats and
\nremovable roof, slimmer athletic lines with hood opening and speedometer up to 150 mph (240 km\/h)
\nthey give it a sporty look. Although competing against the corvette, the thunderbird was structurally superior
\na passenger car that had a greater emphasis on the comfort and functionality of the vehicle. We can call it real
\nCalifornia car. The Thunderbird was redesigned in 1957. The main changes were a redesigned front bumper, a larger one
\nthe mask and the extended rear part of the car, which allows the installation of a spare tire in the trunk, and larger
\nback lights. The dashboard got round gauges. It develops a 312ci or 5115 cubic centimeter engine
\npower of 245 horsepower at 4500 rpm and a torque of 450 Nm at 3200 rpm. It takes care of the transfer to the rear wheels
\nautomatic gearbox that starts the vehicle weighing 1560 kg, length 4608 mm, width 1811 mm and height 1311 mm from 0-
\n100 km\/h 9.5 s. The front and rear brakes are drum, with a booster for better effect. Power steering
\nthe pump ensures easier handling, the car radio is an addition to comfort. Wire rims also provide a better look
\nspokes.
\nThe fuel tank is 76 liters. The Thunderbird sold very well. It outsold the rival Corvette by more
\nlike 20 %. The car is a real phenomenon and offers a regal driving feeling, which is already said by the fact that it was driven by: Frank Sinatra,
